Matt McMahon, Founder of Bluestone Home Loans, graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Soon after graduating, Matt entered the mortgage business in the same year 2011 and began working at a large regional bank. Six of those years in mortgage originations prior to establishing Bluestone Home Loans.
Matt is passionate about doing what is best for clients. This means delivering the top product for his client’s goals and financial situation. It also means he feels a responsibility to stay current on the latest trends and developments. He does this by spending time with other industry professionals, reading the latest financial news, as well as new guideline publications by the Federal Housing Administration, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, and other government and quasi-government entities.
Matt is a long-time native of Northern Virginia, stays active in his community and enjoys coaching and developing youth Ultimate Frisbee.
